What makes our Gourmet Flavored Coffee stand out from the rest? It all starts with the beans.
Every bag of our coffee starts with Specialty Grade coffee beans. Specialty Grade coffee is a term that refers to coffee that has scored over 80 points on a 100 point scale by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCA). When a coffee receives a 'Specialty Grade' it means it is in elite company as only 3% of the global yield of coffee ranks this high.
Each variety of our Gourmet Flavored Coffee starts off as a Specialty Grade bean that is roasted to a smooth medium. Once roasted, the coffee is flavored with high quality flavoring oils while still warm.
Others may take cheap and often old coffee, spray it with synthetic flavoring oils then market them their stale cup of warm water as 'Gourmet Flavored Coffee'. We've all tasted the bitterness of this coffee and noticed the oily residue that's been left behind in our coffee makers.
